Education
High school diploma, GED or vocational school recommended but not limited.
Experience
One or more years company on-the-job training working as an apprentice electrician.

- Basic knowledge in electrical wiring & reading schematics
- Use of tools required by the trade

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Installs and repairs electrical systems, apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery, hydraulic systems and equipment, following electrical code, manuals, schematics diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using handtools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment;
Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment. Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment, following manuals, schematics diagrams, and blueprints, using handtools and test equipment;
Maintains the calibration and records for all welding equipment on a monthly basis;Will be required to climb and/or work at heights exceeding 6 feet, and subject to frequently lifting up to but not exceeding 100lbs.
