Education

College Degree preferred but not required.

Experience

3 – 5 years minimum in sales of products related to oilfield.

Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements. Basic computer skills. Excellent communications and people skills. Very motivated and have ability to work independently. Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes. Safety minded.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with high level of confidence,
  • Be knowledgeable about steel fabrication, products that we build (vessel, pipe, jackets, etc.) and other services we offer,
  • Make phone calls to potential customers, explain details of the different products of the company,
  • Maintain customer database and contact them on a regular basis,
  • Record possible work that may be available in the near future,
  • Liaison between company and customer in all matters related to customer satisfaction,
  • Confers with existing and potential customers, assess customer need, and sell products and services from company’s scope of services,
  • Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues,
  • Demonstrates basic technical and product knowledge in all areas of company’s business,
  • Develops annual business plan in conjunction with company’s top-level management,
  • Demonstrates ability to gather detailed business information and develop sales reports on regular basis,
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospective activities including sales calls, presentations, and follow – up activities,
  • Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals,
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective working – team relationship with all support departments,
  • Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees,
  • Employee must be able to travel.
